Isobel Miller Kuhn

Isobel Selina Miller Kuhn, affectionately known as Belle, was born on December 17, 1901. A dedicated Canadian Christian missionary, she devoted her life to serving the Lisu people in the remote regions of Yunnan Province, China, and northern Thailand. Her journey was marked by a profound commitment to her faith and a desire to share it with others.

Alongside her husband, John Kuhn, Isobel was an integral part of the China Inland Mission. Together, they worked tirelessly as Bible translators, church planters, and evangelists, making significant contributions to the spiritual lives of the communities they served. Her passion for teaching the Bible and spreading the Christian message was evident in every aspect of her work.

Isobel's experiences in the mission field inspired her to become an accomplished author. She penned nine books that vividly recount her adventures and the challenges she faced while living among the Lisu people.
