Ivan Ćurković

Ivan Ćurković, born on March fifteenth, nineteen forty-four, is a distinguished Serbian sports executive and former professional footballer renowned for his role as a goalkeeper. His illustrious playing career spanned over two decades, from nineteen sixty to nineteen eighty-one, during which he made more than seven hundred official appearances across three clubs in Yugoslavia and France.

Throughout his career, Ćurković achieved significant success, winning numerous trophies and reaching the prestigious European Cup final on two occasions. He represented Partizan in nineteen sixty-six and Saint-Étienne in nineteen seventy-six, showcasing his exceptional talent on the European stage. Additionally, he earned nineteen caps for the Yugoslav national team between nineteen sixty-three and nineteen seventy.

After retiring from professional football, Ćurković transitioned into sports administration, where he held various high-level positions. Notably, he served as the president of the Serbian Olympic Committee and vice-president of the Serbian Football Association. His commitment to the sport extended to his former club, Partizan, where he presided over the organization for nearly two decades, from nineteen eighty-nine to two thousand six.
