Ivan Gudelj, born on September twenty-first, nineteen sixty, is a distinguished Croatian retired football midfielder and coach, known for his contributions to the sport during his time with Yugoslavia.
His career, however, was tragically cut short at the young age of twenty-five. During a match against Red Star Belgrade, Gudelj collapsed on the field, leading to a diagnosis of a hepatitis infection that ultimately ended his playing days.
Despite the abrupt end to his playing career, Gudelj transitioned into coaching, where he continued to share his passion and knowledge of football with aspiring players.
