Ivan Isakov

Ivan Stepanovich Isakov, born Hovhannes Ter-Isahakyan on August twenty-second, eighteen ninety-four, was a prominent Soviet Armenian military commander and a key figure in the development of the Soviet Navy. His career spanned several decades, during which he rose to the rank of Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union. Isakov's leadership was particularly influential in the Baltic and Black Sea flotillas during the tumultuous years of the Second World War.
