Ivan Moskvitin

Ivan Moskvitin, born around the year 1600, was a notable Russian explorer whose contributions to the exploration of Siberia are significant. He led an expedition from 1639 to 1641, during which he became the first recorded Russian to reach the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean. This remarkable achievement marked a pivotal moment in Russian exploration history.
