Iván Rodríguez

Iván Rodríguez Torres, born on November 27, 1971, is a celebrated Puerto Rican former professional baseball catcher, renowned for his remarkable twenty-one seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB). Known affectionately as 'Pudge' and 'I-Rod', Rodríguez made a significant impact on the game, primarily with the Texas Rangers, where he spent the majority of his illustrious career. He also played for the Florida Marlins, Detroit Tigers, New York Yankees, Houston Astros, and Washington Nationals.

Rodríguez's legacy is cemented by his induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2017, a testament to his exceptional skills and contributions to the sport. He was awarded the American League Most Valuable Player Award in nineteen ninety-nine and played a pivotal role in the Florida Marlins' victory in the 2003 World Series. Additionally, he showcased his talent in the 2006 World Series with the Tigers.
