Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Ivi Adamou

Ivi Adamou, a talented Greek Cypriot singer, was born on November twenty-fourth, nineteen ninety-three, in Agia Napa. She gained prominence in Greece and Cyprus after participating in the second season of the Greek version of The X Factor, where she was mentored by the renowned Giorgos Theofanous. Following her elimination from the show, Adamou quickly secured a recording contract with Sony Music Greece, marking the beginning of her successful music career.

Her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest in two thousand twelve, where she represented Cyprus with the catchy song 'La La Love', further solidified her status as a rising star. Adamou's debut extended play, 'Kalokairi Stin Kardia', was released in two thousand ten, shortly after signing with Sony. That same year, she collaborated with the Spiros Lambrou Choir to release a holiday extended play titled 'Christougenna Me Tin Ivi Adamou', which was also marketed abroad as 'Christmas with Ivi Adamou'.

In July two thousand eleven, she launched her debut studio album, 'San Ena Oniro', featuring hit singles such as 'Krata Ta Matia Sou Klista', 'Kano Mia Efhi', and 'Voltes St Asteria'. Although a new album titled 'Eho Ourano' was planned for release in the summer of two thousand thirteen, it ultimately did not materialize. However, her second studio album, 'Diko Mou', is set to be released on November twenty-eighth, two thousand twenty-two. Adamou has also contributed songs to films, including 'Barbie in A Mermaid Tale' and 'Barbie: A Fashion Fairytale'.

In two thousand fifteen, she made her theatrical debut in the original musical 'Barbarella: the 80's Musical'. Influenced by iconic artists such as Beyoncé, Whitney Houston, and Helena Paparizou, Adamou has been affectionately dubbed the 'Pop Queen' and 'Teen Idol' in Greece. Since her time on The X Factor, she has been heralded as the 'Next Big Thing'. Her first extended play achieved gold certification for selling over sixty thousand copies in Greece, while her holiday extended play was certified platinum in Portugal for selling over fifteen thousand copies.

Throughout her career, Adamou has received numerous nominations at the MAD Video Music Awards and the Madame Figaro Awards. She was honored as the best Cypriot female performer in two thousand ten and two thousand twelve, and she received the prestigious title of best singer in Cyprus in two thousand twelve, a first for the award. Beyond her musical achievements, Adamou is also dedicated to charitable causes, participating in initiatives like 'Everything I Can' for cervical cancer prevention and serving as the Young Ambassador for children's rights with the HFC-UNCRC Policy Center.
