Born on September first, nineteen seventy-three, Jason Dean Bennison, known professionally as J.D. Fortune, is a talented Canadian singer and songwriter. He gained international fame as the frontman of the iconic Australian rock band INXS, a role he embraced after winning the inaugural season of the CBS reality television series Rock Star: INXS.
Fortune's journey with INXS began in two thousand five, stepping into the shoes of the late Michael Hutchence. His tenure with the band lasted for six years, during which he led them through a significant world tour promoting their album Switch. This album marked a pivotal moment for INXS, being their first studio release featuring Fortune and the only one with new material following Hutchence's tragic passing.
Despite the success, Fortune's time with INXS came to an end in August two thousand eleven due to creative differences. This separation allowed him to focus on his solo career, showcasing his versatility and passion for music beyond the band.
