J. Michel Doyon, born on April 22, 1943, is a distinguished Canadian lawyer, historian, and author. His extensive career has seen him contribute significantly to the legal and historical landscape of Quebec.
In a notable chapter of his career, Doyon served as the 29th lieutenant governor of Quebec, a position he assumed on September 24, 2015. His tenure in this esteemed role lasted until January 25, 2024, when he was succeeded by Manon Jeannotte.
