Jabari Montsho Smith Jr., born on May 13, 2003, in Fayetteville, Georgia, is an emerging talent in the world of professional basketball. He is currently a player for the Houston Rockets in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Growing up in a basketball-centric family, with his father being former professional player Jabari Smith Sr., Jabari was introduced to the sport at an early age, benefiting from his father's guidance and expertise.

Smith's high school career at Sandy Creek High School was marked by significant achievements, including a state championship appearance during his senior year. His exceptional skills on the court earned him accolades such as being named a McDonald's All-American and Mr. Georgia Basketball. As a five-star recruit, he was ranked as the seventh overall player in the nation, leading him to commit to Auburn University to further his basketball journey.

During his freshman year at Auburn, Smith played a pivotal role in the team's historic success, contributing to their first-ever AP poll number one ranking and securing the Southeastern Conference (SEC) regular season championship.
