Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Jack Abramoff

Jack Abramoff, born on February twenty-eighth, nineteen fifty-nine, is a multifaceted American known for his roles as a lobbyist, businessman, film producer, writer, and convicted criminal. His career has been marked by significant achievements and controversies, particularly his involvement in a major federal corruption investigation that led to his conviction and implicated twenty-one others, including notable figures such as White House officials and a U.S. Representative.

From nineteen eighty-one to nineteen eighty-five, Abramoff served as the national chairman of the College Republican National Committee. He was also a founding member of the International Freedom Foundation, which was allegedly funded by the apartheid-era government of South Africa. His influence extended to the National Center for Public Policy Research, a conservative think tank where he served on the board of directors.

Between nineteen ninety-four and two thousand one, Abramoff was a prominent lobbyist for the firms Preston Gates & Ellis and Greenberg Traurig. His lobbying efforts culminated in the infamous Jack Abramoff Native American lobbying scandal, which, along with his dealings with SunCruz Casinos, led to a guilty plea in January two thousand six. He was subsequently sentenced to six years in federal prison for mail fraud, conspiracy to bribe public officials, and tax evasion, serving forty-three months before his release on December third, two thousand ten.

Following his release, Abramoff authored an autobiographical book titled Capitol Punishment: The Hard Truth About Washington Corruption From America's Most Notorious Lobbyist, published in November two thousand eleven. His life and the scandals surrounding his lobbying activities have inspired two films: Casino Jack and the United States of Money, released in May two thousand ten, and Casino Jack, which premiered on December seventeenth, two thousand ten, featuring Kevin Spacey in the lead role.
