Jack Aitken, a talented racing driver, was born on September twenty-third, nineteen ninety-five, in London. With a unique heritage of a Scottish father and a South Korean mother, Aitken has made a name for himself in the world of motorsport, competing under the British flag.
His journey in competitive racing began at the tender age of seven with karting. Aitken transitioned to car racing by participating in the Intersteps Championship with Fortec Motorsport, which paved the way for his involvement in the Formula Renault BARC Winter Series, Formula Renault NEC, and the Formula Renault Eurocup.
In two thousand fifteen, Aitken clinched the Formula Renault Eurocup title, leading to his recruitment by the Renault young driver academy, where he remained until two thousand nineteen. His career progressed through the GP3 Series in two thousand sixteen and two thousand seventeen, ultimately reaching Formula 2 in two thousand eighteen.
Aitken served as Williams F1's reserve driver from two thousand twenty until his departure from the team in January two thousand twenty-three. Notably, he raced for Williams at the Sakhir Grand Prix in two thousand twenty, stepping in for George Russell, who had taken Lewis Hamilton's place at Mercedes for that event.
