Jack Doohan, born on January twentieth, two thousand three, is an accomplished Australian racing driver hailing from the picturesque Gold Coast, Queensland. He is the son of the legendary five-time Grand Prix motorcycle World Champion, Mick Doohan. Jack's journey into the world of motorsport began at the tender age of nine when he received a go-kart from the iconic Michael Schumacher, quickly establishing himself by winning multiple national titles.
In two thousand eighteen, Doohan transitioned to junior formula racing, making his debut in the F4 British Championship. His talent shone brightly as he finished as the runner-up in the 2019–20 F3 Asian Championship, competing fiercely against Joey Alders. The following year, he moved up to FIA Formula 3, where he again showcased his skills, finishing as the runner-up to Dennis Hauger while racing for Trident.
Doohan's ascent continued as he progressed to FIA Formula 2, where he achieved several victories during his campaigns in two thousand twenty-two and two thousand twenty-three with Virtuosi, ultimately finishing third in the latter season. His dedication and performance earned him a spot in the Alpine Academy in two thousand twenty-two, after previously being a member of the Red Bull Junior Team.
In two thousand twenty-three and twenty-four, Jack served as a reserve driver for Alpine, making his Formula One debut at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in two thousand twenty-four as a replacement for Esteban Ocon. His impressive performance led to a full-time seat in two thousand twenty-five, where he partnered with Pierre Gasly. However, after six rounds without scoring points, he was replaced by Franco Colapinto.
