Jackie McNamara

Jackie McNamara, born on October twenty-fourth, nineteen seventy-three, is a distinguished Scottish professional football agent, former player, manager, and executive. His football journey began at Dunfermline Athletic, but it was at Celtic, where he spent a decade, that he truly made his mark. During his time with the club, he celebrated four Scottish Premier League titles and triumphed in the Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup three times each.

In addition to his club success, McNamara represented Scotland on the international stage, earning thirty-three caps and playing in various defensive roles. He was part of the national squad that competed in the nineteen ninety-eight FIFA World Cup, showcasing his talent on a global platform.

After hanging up his boots, McNamara transitioned into management, starting with Partick Thistle in April twenty-eleven. His managerial career continued with Dundee United, where he was appointed in January twenty-thirteen but was dismissed in September twenty-fifteen.
