Jackie Tegart

Jackie L. Tegart, born in nineteen fifty-six, is a prominent Canadian politician who has made significant contributions to the political landscape of British Columbia. Elected to the Legislative Assembly in the two thousand thirteen provincial election, she represented the Fraser-Nicola electoral district as a member of the BC United party until two thousand twenty-four.

Before her tenure in the provincial legislature, Tegart was deeply involved in local governance, serving three terms on the municipal council of Ashcroft. Her commitment to education and community service is further exemplified by her seventeen years on the school board, where she worked to enhance educational opportunities for students.
