He is best known for hosting the web television show Legitimate Targets, which airs on platforms such as YouTube, Rumble, and X. As a co-founder of the American Communist Party (ACP), Hinkle has advocated for policies that align with neo-Stalinism and Xi Jinping Thought, positioning himself as a unique voice in contemporary political discourse.

Hinkle's political stance is characterized by his support for Russia in the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian War, as well as his opposition to Israel, favoring groups like Hamas, Iran, Hezbollah, and the Houthis in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He has also expressed a pro-Pakistan viewpoint regarding the Kashmir conflict. His self-identification as an 'American Conservative Marxist–Leninist' reflects a blend of cultural conservatism and communist ideology, which he terms 'MAGA Communism.'
