Jacob Frey, born on July twenty-third, nineteen eighty-one, is a prominent American politician and attorney who has made significant contributions to the city of Minneapolis. Since taking office in 2018, he has served as the city's forty-eighth mayor, having been elected in 2017 and successfully reelected in both 2021 and 2025. A dedicated member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party, Frey previously held a position on the Minneapolis City Council from 2014 to 2018.
