Jacques Kallis

He is widely celebrated as one of the greatest cricketers of all time, particularly noted for his exceptional skills as an all-rounder. Kallis was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm fast-medium swing bowler, making significant contributions to the game throughout his illustrious career.

In the realm of international cricket, Kallis stands out as the only player to have scored more than ten thousand runs and taken over two hundred fifty wickets in both One Day Internationals and Test matches. His remarkable statistics include thirteen thousand two hundred eighty-nine runs in Test cricket, along with two hundred ninety-two wickets and two hundred catches. Kallis's prowess is further highlighted by his forty-five Test match centuries, ranking him as the fourth highest run-scorer in Test history.

Kallis's accolades include twenty-three Man-of-the-Match awards, the highest in Test history, and he was named Player of the Tournament during South Africa's triumphant 1998 ICC KnockOut Trophy campaign. His performance in that tournament was stellar, finishing as the second highest run-scorer and leading wicket-taker, with a remarkable five wickets for thirty runs in the final.
