Jacques Monod

Jacques Monod, born on February ninth, nineteen ten, was a distinguished French biochemist and geneticist whose groundbreaking work laid the foundation for molecular biology. He is best known for his collaboration with François Jacob and André Lwoff, with whom he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in nineteen sixty-five.
