Jaka Lakovič

Jaka Lakovič, born on July ninth, nineteen seventy-eight, is a distinguished Slovenian basketball coach and former player. With a height of one point eighty-six meters and a weight of ninety-five kilograms, he excelled in the point guard position throughout his playing career.

His remarkable skills on the court earned him a spot on the All-EuroLeague Second Team in two thousand five, showcasing his talent among Europe's elite players. Lakovič's contributions to the sport extended beyond club play, as he played a pivotal role in leading the senior Slovenia national team to a commendable fourth place finish at the two thousand nine EuroBasket.

After transitioning from player to coach, Lakovič took on the role of head coach for Gran Canaria in the Liga ACB, where he continued to influence the game and mentor the next generation of basketball talent.
