Jake Holden, born on September twenty-fifth, nineteen eighty-seven, is a distinguished Canadian snowboarder known for his prowess in snowboard cross. His competitive spirit led him to represent Canada at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, where he showcased his skills, finishing fourth in his heat.

Despite his promising career, Jake faced challenges with lingering injuries that ultimately led to his retirement from competitive snowboarding following the Olympics. However, his passion for the sport did not wane.

In two thousand eighteen, Jake transitioned into coaching, taking on the role of assistant coach for the Canadian National Snowboardcross Team. He now shares head coaching responsibilities with the esteemed Maelle Ricker, a former Olympic gold medalist from two thousand ten.

Outside of snowboarding, Jake has successfully ventured into entrepreneurship, running a business that specializes in European stone work during the off-season, blending his love for craftsmanship with his athletic background.
