Jake Shears

Jason F. Sellards, widely recognized by his stage name Jake Shears, was born on October 3, 1978. He is an accomplished American singer, songwriter, musician, and actor, celebrated for his dynamic presence in the music industry.

Shears gained prominence as the co-lead vocalist of the Scissor Sisters, a pop-rock band that emerged from New York City. The group enjoyed significant chart success throughout the 2000s, captivating audiences with their unique sound and theatrical performances. However, after their indefinite hiatus in 2012, Shears embarked on a new chapter in his career.

In 2017, Jake Shears launched his solo career, marking a new era of artistic expression. His debut solo studio album, aptly titled 'Jake Shears,' was released in August 2018, showcasing his versatility as a musician. Following this, he unveiled his second album, 'Last Man Dancing,' on June 2, 2023, further solidifying his place in the music scene.
