Jakub Kiwior

Jakub Kiwior, born on February 15, 2000, is a talented Polish professional footballer who currently plays as a defender for Primeira Liga club Porto, on loan from Premier League club Arsenal. His journey in professional football began in 2018 with Slovak side Železiarne Podbrezová, where he showcased his potential and skills on the pitch.

In 2019, Kiwior made a significant move to Žilina, further developing his game before transferring to Spezia in 2021. His impressive performances at Spezia, where he made thirty-nine appearances, caught the attention of top clubs, leading to his transfer to Arsenal in January 2023 for a reported fee of twenty million pounds.

On the international stage, Kiwior has represented Poland at various youth levels, starting from U16 and progressing through to the senior team. He made his international debut on June 11, 2022, and has since been a key player for the national squad, being selected for both the 2022 World Cup and Euro 2024, where he started in all matches during these prestigious tournaments.
