Jamea Jackson

Jamea Jackson, born on September seventh, nineteen eighty-six, in Atlanta, Georgia, is a distinguished former professional tennis player and a dedicated coach. She made her mark in the sport by achieving a remarkable singles ranking of forty-five in the world at the close of two thousand six. Her journey in tennis began at the prestigious Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Bradenton, Florida, where she honed her skills and developed her passion for the game.

After her professional playing career, Jackson transitioned into coaching, showcasing her expertise and commitment to nurturing the next generation of tennis talent. In August two thousand nine, she was appointed as the Assistant Coach for the Oklahoma State University Women's Tennis Team, where she contributed significantly to the team's development and success.

In addition to her role at Oklahoma State, Jackson took on the responsibility of coaching the USTA collegiate team in two thousand ten and two thousand eleven.
