Jameer Nelson

Jameer Lamar Nelson Sr., born on February 9, 1982, is a distinguished American former professional basketball player who has transitioned into a prominent role as the assistant general manager for the Philadelphia 76ers in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Nelson's basketball journey began at Saint Joseph's University, where he showcased his exceptional talent and was honored as the national college player of the year in two thousand four. His impressive performance in college led to his selection as the twentieth overall pick in the two thousand four NBA draft.

Over the course of his career, Nelson spent a significant decade with the Orlando Magic, where he not only earned an All-Star title in two thousand nine but also made a memorable appearance in the NBA Finals.
