Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of James Chester

James Chester, born on January twenty-third, nineteen eighty-nine, is a former professional footballer renowned for his role as a centre-back. He began his career at the prestigious Manchester United, where he made a solitary appearance before embarking on a journey that would see him play for several notable clubs.

After a series of loan spells at Peterborough United, Plymouth Argyle, and Carlisle United, Chester secured a permanent move to Hull City in January twenty-eleven. His tenure at Hull lasted three and a half years, during which he established himself as a reliable defender. In two thousand fifteen, he transferred to West Bromwich Albion, but after just one season, he joined Aston Villa in the summer of two thousand sixteen.

At Aston Villa, Chester played a pivotal role in the team's success, helping them achieve promotion to the Premier League by winning the EFL Championship play-off final in two thousand nineteen. He later joined Stoke City on loan in January twenty-twenty, making the move permanent later that year. After leaving Stoke in July twenty-twenty-two, he signed with League One Derby County, but his time there was marred by injuries, leading to his departure in twenty-twenty-three.

In September twenty-twenty-three, Chester signed with League Two Barrow, and at the start of the twenty-four–twenty-five season, he joined League Two Salford City. Unfortunately, he announced his retirement in February twenty-twenty-five due to ongoing injury challenges. On the international stage, Chester earned thirty-five caps for the Wales national team, making his debut in June twenty-fourteen and representing his country at UEFA Euro twenty-sixteen, where Wales reached the semi-finals for the first time in their history.
