James D. Halsell

James Donald Halsell Jr., born on September 29, 1956, is a distinguished retired United States Air Force officer and a former NASA astronaut. With a remarkable career that includes five Space Shuttle missions, Halsell has made significant contributions to space exploration and aviation.
