James, Earl of Wessex

James Alexander Philip Theo Mountbatten-Windsor, known as the Earl of Wessex, was born on December seventeenth, two thousand seven. He is a prominent member of the British royal family, recognized as the younger child and only son of Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh, and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh.

As the youngest grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, James holds a unique position within the royal lineage. He is also a nephew of King Charles III, further intertwining his life with the history of the British monarchy.

James was born during the reign of his paternal grandmother and initially held the title of Viscount Severn until two thousand twenty-three.
