James S. Voss

James S. Voss, born on March third, nineteen forty-nine, is a distinguished retired United States Army colonel and NASA astronaut. His remarkable career is marked by five spaceflights aboard the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station, showcasing his expertise and dedication to space exploration.

Throughout his tenure at NASA, Voss played a pivotal role as the deputy of Flight Operations for the Space Station Program Mission Integration and Operations Office. His contributions were instrumental in advancing the operational capabilities of the Space Station, ensuring successful missions and fostering international collaboration in space.

In addition to his illustrious career as an astronaut, Voss has also made significant contributions to academia.
