Jamie Dimon

Jamie Dimon, born on March 13, 1956, is a prominent American banker who has held the position of chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of JPMorgan Chase since 2006. His journey in the financial sector began as a management consultant in Boston, where he laid the groundwork for a remarkable career.

After earning his degree from Harvard Business School in 1982, Dimon joined American Express, where he was mentored by the influential Sandy Weill. By 1986, at just thirty years old, he had ascended to the role of chief financial officer (CFO) at Commercial Credit, eventually becoming the firm's president. His career continued to flourish as he served as chief operating officer (COO) for both Travelers and Smith Barney from 1990 to 1998, before taking on the presidency of Citigroup.

In 2000, Dimon became the CEO of Bank One, leading the company until its merger with JPMorgan Chase in 2004.
