Jan Veizer

Jan Veizer, born on June 22, 1941, in Pobedim, Slovakia, is a distinguished Slovak-Canadian geochemist renowned for his contributions to Earth sciences. As an emeritus Distinguished University Professor at the University of Ottawa and the Institute for Geology, Mineralogy and Geophysics at Bochum Ruhr University, he has significantly influenced the field through his academic and research endeavors.
