Jane Toppan

Jane Toppan, born Honora Kelley on March 31, 1854, was an American nurse whose life took a dark turn as she became one of the most notorious serial killers in history. Operating in Massachusetts between 1895 and 1901, Toppan is confirmed to have murdered twelve individuals, although she confessed to a staggering thirty-one and is suspected of being responsible for over one hundred deaths.
