Jane Zhang, born on October 11, 1984, is a celebrated Chinese singer-songwriter and recording artist, renowned for her extraordinary vocal range and signature use of the whistle register. Often referred to as the 'Dolphin Princess,' she began her musical journey as a teenager, performing in pubs to support her family. This early experience laid the foundation for her illustrious career in the music industry.

In 2005, Zhang signed with Huayi Brothers Media Corporation, marking the beginning of her professional career. Her debut studio album, 'The One,' was released in 2006, followed by 'Update' in 2007 and 'Jane@Music' in 2009.
