Janet Reno

Janet Reno, born on July twenty-first, nineteen thirty-eight, was a prominent American lawyer and public official who made history as the first woman to serve as the United States Attorney General. Appointed by President Bill Clinton, she held this esteemed position from nineteen ninety-three until two thousand one, making her the second-longest serving attorney general in U.S. history, surpassed only by William Wirt.

Raised in Miami, Florida, Reno pursued her education at Cornell University and Harvard Law School before returning to her hometown to embark on a legal career.
