Janne Andersson

Janne Andersson, born on September twenty-ninth, nineteen sixty-two, is a distinguished figure in Swedish football, both as a former player and a seasoned coach. His playing career spanned fourteen years, from nineteen seventy-nine to nineteen ninety-three, during which he represented various clubs across Sweden.

Transitioning from player to coach, Andersson took the helm at Halmstads BK from two thousand four to two thousand nine, where he made a significant impact in the Swedish top tier league. Following this, he managed Örgryte in the second tier in two thousand ten, before taking charge of IFK Norrköping in two thousand eleven, a team newly promoted to the top tier.

Under his leadership, IFK Norrköping achieved remarkable success, culminating in the Allsvenskan title in two thousand fifteen. His coaching prowess led to his appointment as the manager of the Sweden national team in two thousand sixteen, where he guided the team to qualify for the prestigious 2018 World Cup and the 2020 Euro.
