Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Jason Molina

Jason Molina, born on December 30, 1973, was an influential American musician, celebrated for his work as a guitarist, singer-songwriter, and singer. Raised in the heart of northern Ohio, he first gained recognition in the late 1990s under the moniker Songs: Ohia. His unique sound, characterized by a blend of indie rock, blues, and alternative country, resonated with audiences and critics alike.

In 2003, Molina expanded his musical horizons by forming the band Magnolia Electric Co., which further solidified his status in the indie music scene. Over the course of his prolific career, he released a remarkable total of sixteen studio albums, eight EPs, and numerous singles, showcasing his distinctive tenor vocal range and songwriting prowess.

Despite his artistic success, Molina faced significant personal challenges. In 2009, he was forced to cancel a European and U.S. tour with fellow musician Will Johnson due to health issues. The following years were marked by his struggle with alcoholism, a battle that ultimately led to his untimely death from multiple organ failure in March 2013.
