Jason Read

Jason Read, born on December twenty-fourth, nineteen seventy-seven, is a distinguished American rower known for his remarkable achievements in the sport. He first discovered his passion for rowing at the Hun School of Princeton, where he honed his skills before continuing his athletic journey at Temple University.

Read's most notable accomplishment came during the 2004 Summer Olympics, where he rowed in the bow seat for the U.S. Men's Rowing Team Eight. The team not only clinched the gold medal but also set an Olympic record with a time of five minutes and nineteen point eighty-five seconds during the heat on August fifteenth, two thousand four.

In addition to his athletic prowess, Read has demonstrated a strong commitment to community service. As a volunteer with the Amwell Valley – Ringoes Rescue Squad in Ringoes, he played a crucial role in responding to the tragic events of September eleventh, two thousand one.
