Javier Pérez de Cuéllar

Javier Pérez de Cuéllar, born on January nineteenth, nineteen twenty, was a distinguished Peruvian diplomat and politician. He is best known for his tenure as the fifth secretary-general of the United Nations, a role he held from nineteen eighty-two to nineteen ninety-one. His leadership during this pivotal period coincided with the final decade of the Cold War, where he played a crucial role in various international conflicts and negotiations.
