Javier Sotomayor

Javier Sotomayor, born on October thirteenth, nineteen sixty-seven, is a distinguished former Cuban track and field athlete renowned for his exceptional prowess in the high jump. He holds the world record with an impressive clearance of two point forty-five meters, making him the only athlete to have ever surpassed the eight-foot mark, achieving this remarkable feat twice during his career.
