Jean Castex

Jean Castex, born on June twenty-fifth, nineteen sixty-five, is a prominent French statesperson and politician. He held the esteemed position of Prime Minister of France from July third, twenty twenty to May sixteenth, twenty twenty-two. His political journey began with The Republicans (LR), a party he was affiliated with until twenty twenty.

Before ascending to the role of Prime Minister, Castex dedicated twelve years to serving as the mayor of Prades, a small town in France. His leadership in this role laid the groundwork for his later appointment by President Emmanuel Macron, marking a significant step in his political career.

Following his tenure as Prime Minister, Castex resigned ahead of the twenty twenty-two legislative election. He then took on the role of president of the state-owned RATP from twenty twenty-two to twenty twenty-five, showcasing his continued influence in public service.

In November twenty twenty-five, he transitioned to serve as president of the SNCF, further solidifying his impact on France's transportation sector and public infrastructure.
