Jean-François Lamour

Jean-François Lamour, born on February second, nineteen fifty-six, is a distinguished French politician and former fencer. His athletic career is marked by significant achievements, including his qualification for the 1987 World Championship and an impressive medal tally in Olympic sabre events, where he secured two gold medals, two silver medals, and one bronze medal between nineteen eighty-four and nineteen eighty-eight.

After concluding his successful fencing career, Lamour transitioned into the political arena. He served as the sports and youth counselor to the Mayor of Paris from nineteen ninety-three to nineteen ninety-five, showcasing his commitment to promoting sports and youth initiatives.
