Jean Habel

Jean Habel, born on January ninth, nineteen eighty-eight, is a prominent Canadian politician representing the Quebec Liberal Party. He made his mark in the political landscape when he was elected to the National Assembly of Quebec during the two thousand fourteen election, serving the electoral district of Sainte-Rose.

As a dedicated advocate for youth involvement in governance, Habel authored the Act to amend the Act respecting the governance of state-owned enterprises. This legislation aims to enhance the representation of young individuals on the boards of directors of state-owned enterprises, ensuring that the voices of the younger generation are heard in critical decision-making processes.

In addition to his legislative efforts, Habel co-founded the circle of young parliamentarians of Québec.
