Jean Hall

Jean Hall, born in 1896, was a pioneering Canadian architect who made significant strides in a male-dominated field. She became the second woman to graduate from the architecture program at the University of Toronto in 1923, following in the footsteps of Esther Hill. This achievement marked a notable moment in the history of architecture education in Canada.

In 1925, Hall made her mark on the architectural landscape by designing a fourplex through her father's building firm.
