Jeanette Biedermann

Jeanette Biedermann, born on February twenty-second, nineteen eighty, is a multifaceted German singer, actress, and television personality. Growing up in the greater Berlin area, she began her artistic journey at the tender age of six, performing with a troupe of acrobats in a children's circus. After a brief stint in beauty school, she decided to follow her passion for music, which was ignited by her victory in the Bild-Schlagerwettbewerb competition in nineteen ninety-eight.

Her rise to fame was swift; in nineteen ninety-nine, she secured fourth place in the national final for the Eurovision Song Contest, which paved the way for her breakout role in the popular soap opera Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten. The year two thousand marked a significant milestone in her music career with the release of her first two full English-language albums, Enjoy! and Delicious, both of which showcased her vocal prowess and artistic versatility.

In an effort to reinvent her musical style, Biedermann transitioned to pop rock with her subsequent albums, including Rock My Life, Break On Through, and Naked Truth. After departing from GZSZ and taking a hiatus, she starred in the telenovela Anna und die Liebe and released her dance pop album Undress to the Beat in two thousand nine. Although this album did not achieve the commercial success of her earlier works, it marked a new chapter in her career.

In two thousand twelve, Biedermann took on the role of lead singer for the German-language group Ewig, which disbanded in two thousand nineteen. That same year, she participated in the sixth season of Sing meinen Song – Das Tauschkonzert, the German adaptation of the Best Singers series, and announced her eighth solo album, DNA, released in two thousand nineteen. With over ten million copies sold, she is recognized as one of the highest-selling German music artists of the early two thousands.

Throughout her career, Biedermann has not only made significant contributions to music but has also served as a judge on reality television competitions like Star Search and Stars auf Ice. Her acting credits include appearances in various films and television shows, such as the crime series Tatort and the spoof film Dörte's Dancing. Her achievements in the music industry have earned her numerous accolades, including two ECHO Awards, a Goldene Kamera, and a Top of the Pops Award.
