Jeff Hassler

Jeff Hassler, born on August twenty-first, nineteen ninety-one, is a prominent Canadian rugby union player known for his agility and skill on the field. He primarily plays as a wing and occasionally takes on the centre position for the Seattle Seawolves in Major League Rugby (MLR), as well as representing Rugby Canada's National 15s team.

Hailing from Alberta, Hassler attended Holy Trinity Academy in Okotoks, where he showcased his athletic prowess across various sports, particularly excelling in Canadian football and rugby. His early dedication to rugby laid the foundation for a successful career, leading him to play for notable teams such as Neath-Swansea and the Ospreys.

In his inaugural season with the Ospreys, Hassler made a significant impact by participating in seventeen matches and scoring eight tries, which earned him a coveted spot on the RaboDirect Dream Team. His talent was further recognized when he was voted Team Canada's 15's player of the year for the two thousand fourteen season, a testament to his contributions on the international stage.

Despite facing challenges due to injury during the fourteen/fifteen campaign, Hassler managed to score six tries in eleven appearances with the Ospreys, demonstrating resilience in a demanding season that included competitions in the Guinness Pro14 and European Cup. On May tenth, two thousand nineteen, it was announced that he would join the Seattle Seawolves, marking a new chapter in his rugby journey.
