Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Jeff Hendrick

Jeff Hendrick, born on January thirty-first, nineteen ninety-two, is an Irish former professional footballer who made his mark as a midfielder. Growing up in Dublin, he honed his skills at St. Kevin's Boys, his boyhood club, before embarking on a journey that would see him join Derby County's youth academy in two thousand eight after several trials in England.

Hendrick made his professional debut in April two thousand eleven, quickly establishing himself as a key player under manager Nigel Clough. His contributions were pivotal as he helped Derby reach the Championship play-off final in two thousand fourteen, although they fell short against Queens Park Rangers. Over six years with Derby, he made two hundred fourteen appearances and scored twenty-six goals.

In August two thousand sixteen, Hendrick signed a three-year deal with Burnley, a newly-promoted Premier League side. He played a significant role in the team's impressive seventh-place finish during the two thousand seventeen to eighteen season, which marked Burnley's return to European competition after fifty-one years. After four seasons and one hundred thirty-nine appearances with ten goals, he departed Burnley in June two thousand twenty.

Hendrick then joined Newcastle United on a free transfer in August two thousand twenty, signing a four-year contract. His time at Newcastle included loan spells at Queens Park Rangers, Reading, and Sheffield Wednesday, but he ultimately left the club in July two thousand twenty-four after making only twenty-seven appearances. In March two thousand twenty-five, he returned to Derby County on a short-term deal, but after failing to feature, he was released at the end of the two thousand twenty-six season.

On the international stage, Hendrick represented Ireland at all youth levels and made his senior debut in February two thousand thirteen. He earned seventy-nine caps and scored twice for the national team, including a memorable appearance at Euro two thousand sixteen, where he started all four matches for the Boys in Green. In October two thousand twenty-five, Hendrick announced his retirement from football at the age of thirty-three.
