Jennifer Abel

Jennifer Abel, born on August twenty-third, nineteen ninety-one, is a distinguished Canadian former competitive diver and swimmer. Known for her exceptional talent in synchronized diving, she has made a significant mark in the world of aquatic sports.

Abel's career highlights include winning an Olympic bronze medal at the two thousand twelve Summer Olympics in the three meter synchronized diving event alongside Émilie Heymans. She further showcased her prowess by securing a silver medal at the two thousand twenty Summer Olympics in the same event, this time partnering with Mélissa Citrini-Beaulieu.

In addition to her Olympic achievements, Abel is a four-time Commonwealth Games champion, excelling in both the one meter and three meter synchronized springboard events. Her success extends to the Pan American Games, where she has claimed three championships in the three meter springboard and three meter synchronized springboard categories.

Abel's remarkable performance at the FINA World Championships has earned her ten medals, comprising six silver and four bronze, setting a record for the most medals won by a Canadian diver in the history of the championships.
