Jennifer Azzi

Jennifer Lynn Azzi, born on August 31, 1968, is a distinguished American business development officer and a former basketball player and coach. With a remarkable career spanning over two decades, she has made significant contributions to the world of basketball, both on and off the court.

Azzi's collegiate career at Stanford University was nothing short of stellar. She was recognized as the national player of the year and played a pivotal role in leading her team to victory in the NCAA national championship in 1990. Following her successful college tenure, she transitioned to professional basketball, where she played from 1990 to 2003, including five seasons in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA).

After her playing career, Azzi took on the role of head coach for the University of San Francisco women's basketball team from 2010 to 2016, where she continued to inspire and develop young athletes. In addition to her coaching, she served as the chief business development officer for the Las Vegas Aces from 2021 to 2025, showcasing her versatility and leadership in the sports industry.

In recognition of her outstanding contributions to women's basketball, Azzi was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009, solidifying her legacy as a trailblazer in the sport.
