Jennifer Botterill

Jennifer Botterill, born on May 1, 1979, is a distinguished Canadian former women's ice hockey player who has made significant contributions to the sport both on and off the ice. Her journey began in ringette before she transitioned to ice hockey, where she showcased her exceptional skills at Harvard University and played for notable teams such as the Mississauga Chiefs and the Toronto Aeros.

Throughout her illustrious career, Botterill represented the Canadian national team with pride. One of her most memorable moments came during her final international game, where she assisted on the game-winning goal in Canada's triumphant 2–0 victory over the United States, securing the gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics.

After retiring from professional play, Botterill transitioned into broadcasting, where she has become a prominent hockey analyst. She currently serves as a studio analyst for Sportsnet and Hockey Night in Canada in Canada, as well as a color commentator and studio analyst for TNT in the United States.

In recognition of her outstanding contributions to the sport, Jennifer Botterill was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2025, solidifying her legacy as one of the greats in women's hockey.
