Jenny Slate

Jenny Slate, born on March twenty-fifth, nineteen eighty-two, is a multifaceted American talent known for her work as an actress, stand-up comedian, and writer. She first gained attention through her early roles in television and live performances in New York City, where her unique comedic style began to shine.

Slate co-created the beloved children's short film and book series, Marcel the Shell with Shoes On, alongside Dean Fleischer Camp, her husband from two thousand twelve to two thousand sixteen. Her career took a significant leap when she joined the cast of the thirty-fifth season of Saturday Night Live in two thousand nine, which introduced her to a broader audience.

Her breakout role came in the critically acclaimed film Obvious Child, released in two thousand fourteen, where her performance earned her the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Actress in a Comedy.
